This collection from Clòver compiles the best songs from the career of Konrad Giallo. From the release of "here's to losing me" on soundcloud in March of 2018, to his final release "loving lake" from march of 2020. After the soft release of his first single, Konrad Giallo released his first full length album titled "stage 5" in July of the same year (tracks 2-8). Stage 5 featured the track "nothing special (feat. Father Peter) featuring the vocals and lyrics of Father Peter (filmmaker and musician Micah Coss). While working on "nothing special", Konrad and Micah also created "room for cream", a Father Peter song which also featured the voice of Carley Sunn. After the release of stage 5, Konrad went on to release a full length electronic instrumental album entitled "silver", his first official single entitled "teardrops glisten", his second single "fatherland", and on new year's day of 2019, his second full length album "monster hunting" (tracks 10-13). With no artist features, and a variety of styles and sounds, monster hunting gave way to a new dimension of Konrad Giallo. Rock. Konrads live performances typically featured set lists fully comprised of heavy songs like "metal and flesh" and "plaything". Some of the songs performed at almost every show that featured Konrad Giallo have never been released. One such song being "battleaxe", the grimey punk rock track originally written for the score of a short film by Micah Coss. Battleaxe was one of many songs written during Konrads first hiatus following the release of monster hunting. 6 months after the release of monster hunting, on the 1 year anniversary of the release of stage 5, Konrad released his 3rd single: "Toronto". A second hiatus spanning almost 8 months followed the release of Toronto. "Loving lake" was the final project released by Konrad Giallo in spring of 2020. For Giallo, loving lake marked a turning point for his work, both in quality and maturity of sound, and in personal satisfaction and enjoyment for the artist. The 8 months that preceded the release of his final track staged a metamorphosis for Giallo as an artist, a transformation that would bloom into "Clòver".
